WHAT IS PHOTOGRAPHY ?



Hello Photographers, maybe you will become one after reading this blog.So first question most of you will be wondering is that what photography is? I will be  very curious to know that what photography means to you all ,so do comment down in the comments sections that what photopraphy means to you as an individual.Now coming onto me , I will not bore you with the typical theoretical definitions provided by everyone.Photography for me is an emotion experienced in the past, which relives with us forever in our albums, mobile phones , tablets and laptops.There is no better camera developed till date or will be developed in the future other than our human eye but we have to adjust with the thing  called as camera which is present now.I still remember in my memory when the  first time I stood on my own feet in my childhood,this feeling would have been limited to my imagination only,but as my mother captured the moment in her camera , I am able to see it now and can also share with my children too in the future if there will be any , haha just kidding.

Also, I want to clear one myth that everyone carries around with them that if you want to become a photographer or get the best photoshoot done, you need a very expensive camera or a DSLR.Its completely false, a photo can be clicked with a normal phone also but what depends is the thinking and the perspective of the person who is behind the camera as well as in front of it.All those high number of megapixels present in expensive cameras doesn't matter if you are just getting started.Maybe it matters in a E-commerce shoots or commercial use when you have to attract the customers to buy your product.Dont focus on equipments first rather give your focus on your content i.e., the photograph you are going to click that is there any message that the photo is conveying , or unique that nobody before you have ever clicked , or creative in such a way that whosoever sees your photo want to get themselves the same photo get clicked. In the 20th century everybody knows that the visual images are dominating in every industry  as its more eye catching and attractive to the people as they are expressing or showcasing in the form of images and people doesn't get bored like they do while reading text.Let me explain you by giving examples :

In our daily life we are using swiggy, zomato ,ubereats
for food delivery as we don't have to go outside.Just by sitting at home we get the food.Here photography comes into play the restaurant which will be showing images of their dishes will have a more chance of getting a order than the one with no images as the customer gets a flick of trust.

every designer or seller that needs to sell their product online have to get a model or a person wearing their product like tshirt, coats,jeans and get their photographs clicked so that they can upload them onto their websites for sale.



4.IDENTIFICATION FOR DOCUMENTS

Photography is widely used for government uses also for the identifiaction of a persons identity.Earlier identification of a person was done only through their name and address but nowadays in our identification cards like passports,driving license,bank accounts photos are also attached so that the person is easily identifiable.
